Ozi is a retired California preschool teacher. In Iran, she studied English Literature at Tehran University. Following the Iranian Revolution, her family fled to Germany, and then emigrated to the US in 1985. After 20 years in Los Angeles, she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to be near her children and grandchildren.
